Schema resolver
React chapter 56 · react-hook-form · resolver · source: react-hook-form/resolvers
The problem
Validation is if/else in handleSubmit, tied to this form. Swap Yup for Zod and you rewrite every field. Errors live in the same useState that typing already hammers — or they are ad hoc setError calls.
The pattern that fixes it
A resolver is (values) => { values, errors }. Native register still keeps typing off React (chapter 23). Submit (or blur) runs the adapter. @hookform/resolvers/zod is one file that implements that function. The form does not import Zod.
